The LaGrange Association Library was established in 1983.
We are located in Dutchess County, New York and serve the 14,928 residents of the Town of LaGrange.

Four public computers with cable internet access, word processing and spreadsheeting.
Printing from these computers is 10¢ per page.
Three computers dedicated to accessing the Public Library Catalog
Library cards
All residents of the Town of LaGrange may obtain a library card.
Adults are required to provide photo identification and printed proof of residence.
Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present to co-sign at the time a card is issued.
Library cards may be used to borrow materials from the 71 libraries in the Mid-Hudson Library System.
There is a $1 charge to replace a lost library card.

Due to subject limitations, only 3 books per non-fiction subject may be borrowed by a family at one time.
We have an outside book drop for your convenience.
Please do not put DVDs, Videos, Books on Tape/CD, Music CDs, Wii Games or Software in the book drop.

Renewing Items
Items may be renewed 2 times if no one is waiting for them.
You can renew online, by phone or in person.
Please have your library card number available

Fines
DVDs/Videos - $1 per day
All other material - 25¢ per day
Maximum fine is $10 per item
One overdue notice is sent, and the next communication is a bill. If you have any questions about your account, please call the library immediately; we will try to rectify any problems as quickly as possible.
Fees
Lost or damaged audio/video cases: $5 per case
Lost or damaged tape or CD from an audiobook: $10 per tape/CD
Requesting Items
If you're looking for an item that is checked out or we don't own, you can request it by using the Public Library Catalog.

You can have requested material delivered to any library in the Mid-Hudson Library System.
When it arrives we'll call or e-mail you (if your e-mail address is in your record). You have 7 days to pick up your items.
PIN Numbers
If you've forgotten your PIN call the Library at (845) 452-3141.
We won't be able to tell you what your PIN is, but we can delete it so you will be prompted to enter a new one.
You can change your PIN at any time by logging into your account in the Public Library Catalog and clicking on Modify Your PIN.
